Farmers Market

Erie County Legislator Terry McCracken, Alden Chamber of Commerce President Christopher Gust, Farmers Market Manager Nancy Hughes, and Alden Town Supervisor Bud Milligan cut the ribbon to mark the formal opening of the 10th Farmers Market summer entertainment season on June 2, 2012.

FARMERS MARKET OPENING MAY 11TH

The Alden Farmers Market opened for the 2013 season on May 11th, Mothers' Day Saturday. The Market is located at 13119 Broadway. It will be open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October 5th.

While space is limited, new vendors are welcome. Vendors may come for just one or two Saturdays, or for the full season. Rates are $20 per day for occasional vendors and there is a low seasonal rate. Vendors must also have insurance and all necessary permits. There will again be two "big basket" raffles.

As in the past years, the Market will also feature entertainment and special events every week. Non-profit groups will sell coffee, soda, and snacks the entire season. The complete calendar of events will be available below by late April.

Alden-area groups are encouraged to sell food and/or have information tables at the Market. Crafters and other potential vendors are invited to register for any or all of the Farmers Market events by calling either the Market Manager (937-0103) or the Chamber office (937-6177). The Farmers Market will run every Saturday through October 5 - again located in the Alden Village Plaza, 13119 Broadway, between Tractor Supply and Save A Lot. The Market is sponsored by the Alden Chamber of Commerce and is located in the Alden Village Plaza (near Tractor Supply) at 13119 Broadway (Rt 20).
